I was wondering if you guys could help, Just about to buy an Unlocked Iphone on ebay, the reason being im on a good O2 contract at the moment and i dont want to really be ripped off with the O2 tarrifs they are offering as i would like to just use an existing sim..

Anyways whats the pro's and cons of buying an unlocked iphone?

It has been advertised as unlocked via a USB and not opened up..

What software works on it, whats the chances of it being blocked, now and in the future..

Anything i should be worried about really, or shall i just buy with no worries..

Thanks

Just the normal e-bay precautions: Make sure you verify the seller, pay with PayPal and collect if at all possible.
Apart from that, if they're charging a premium over the cost of a new, locked, iPhone I'd just wait a couple of weeks (if that) until 1.1.2 is jailbroken / unlocked, buy a new one and do it yourself!
