    Hello,

Where do you guys go to get editing tips / tricks and tutorials?

Reason why I ask is because I'm searching to find out how people get that flicker, strobe effect using a few frames.

The audio track I'm using is Fiction Factory-Feels Like Heaven (Ext Mix) for my first born documentary titled: Beau's Birth

There is a part in the song where he studders with the word "feel" and I want the video to reflect the audio effect.

Where do I start? I have Final Cut 6, Motion 2 Boris Red and CS3.

I've also have tried to get a DVinfo account, but they never approve of my account.

Thanks for all your help and time.

Well firstly motion is a motion graphics package so it's not really for effects as such, although you can do short sharp effect pieces.

Try the 30 day trial of Adobe After Effects or something like Autodesk Combustion/Flame. FCP6 will do the trick for the most part though.

Website wise www.CreativeCow.net is where it's at for me, otherwise trial and error seems to do the trick if you've got a bit of spare time.
