iPad Help playing movies!!!!

I downloaded a movie through a torrent with itransmission 2. I have the .avi file but I can't play it. It doesn't appear in the video library or my vlc library. Any help would be greately appreciated. (I want to be able to do it without connecting to a computer)

After a couple more hours of research I found oplayer will work, but I'll definitely check that one out.thx for the answers guys!!!!

I can answer the same as at https://forums.macrumors.com/posts/14954906/ : GoodPlayer is a decent choice UNLESS your AVI files are Full HD. Then (assuming the AVI has, as is mostly the case, DivX / XviD / MSMPEG4 video), it's in no way as good as the best players for that.
