Can somebody please hook me up with /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/

I accidentally deleted the launchdaemons folder :-(

My /LaunchDaemons folder is just a bunch of .plist files — I can't swear to it but that more than likely means they're just preferences. Try restarting... is their absence actually affecting the system?
 
I just noticed this was in the iPod Touch forum, haha. Sorry, ignore me! What GrimmGreen said.
 
If you, uhh, restarted as J@ffa said, you have no options but to restore.

Those files are responsible for telling the iPod what to launch. Including SpringBoard. Including the SSH daemon, if any.

i can't get restore to work... i just get the apple and nothing more (i restored twice earlier today so i know it was doing it earlier...) am i totally screwed here?? anyone?
