help please Iphone got white/gray horizontal lines across the screen

can anyone please help me?
i had this Iphone 3gs from Malaysia which was unlocked from there itself and i dunno what went wrong when the bat went low when i got back to homecountry and plugged it in it went to restore mode that means the plug in to itunes logo and when i did it upgraded the iphone to 4.01 something and that is when these lines appeared. the iphone had never been bumped or fell down 🙁 dunno what to do now i got an upgraded version of iphone with horrible white lines 3/4 of the screen and all locked up ??? 🙁

Sounds like you need to replace the screen.

which means it's time to buy a new screen and fix it.

try eBay. then iFixit. or youtube for instructions.
