So after a month of not using my
macbook, i tried turning it on and
it wouldn’t start up. Started charging it, same issue. Then today I tried turning it on again and this is what happened. Turned it off, turned it back on and now nothing shows up on the screen...Any ideas?

What happens when the MBP is connected to an external monitor?

Could be a loose internal connection, a problem with the logic board, LVDS cable, or screen.

It looks like a GPU problem to me. If you have a 2010 -2013 15" or 17" then there are know dGPU problems. The Apple repair program for 2010 - 2011 has expired.

Apple can test and confirm if it is a dGPU problem. If it is the problem then the logic board would have to be replaced.
