hey guys, pls help me. I have an iphone 1g running on 3.1.2 and it is jailbroken through blackr1an. my iphone cant do anything. it wont connect to wifi. it doesnt even scan them. I have tried many time but it wont find any wifi and i know i have many wifi cuz of my ipod. I have tried reseting the network connection but it still wont work. Pls if anyone knows how to fix this pls help

Does it work at all on official firmware?
Keep trying resets and toggling airplane mode off/on.
It might be software related or might be hardware also.

well before blackr1an, there was wifi problems. it would connect. but very weak, and works sometimes. and sometimes it would keep on disconnecting. it was very annoying.

Sounds like your wifi chip was ready to die and acting flaky and finally went bro. I dont think theres any software or anything you can do to repair it besides physically replacing the component.
I hope Im wrong though.

thx. and thx for ur time. ur a nice person. ill see what i can do. this phone is gettin old anyways lol.

Im glad to try to help out bro.
After all the restores, resets and other stuff sounded like its done.
But you can always get an out of warranty replacement thru apple for $199 or maybe upgrade to a newer model 🙂
