Hi I have been given a powermac G4 tower etc but its from an old college that shut down few yrs ago and when I turn it on it asked for a password, ,I dont know it then all I get is little flashing square that changes from little face,s to question mark and nothing I do with keyboard makes any diffrence. I have no discs or much knowlege about what to do🙁 can anyone help Please....

Sounds like you have a boat anchor there "flashing square that changes from little face,s to question mark "
Machine cannot find hard drive or OS to boot from. The very least you will need are the system disk, give it back it is useless unless you have a boat. Free stuff is just free nothing more you will learn this as you grow.
