Hi I am new to this forum. I have just gotten a Samsung SyncMaster 940ux USB monitor and when I plug it in my computer says devise not readable, eject or ignore. Either option doesn't help. I have searched online for drivers and cannot find Mac drivers for this model. Can someone who is familiar with using external monitors please advise how I can get this to work? I have a MacBook running OSX 10.5 with 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM.

Thanks so much.

You use the USB port for video transfer?

Why don't you use the video out port of your MacBook?
It's miniDVI and adapters can be had for 10 to 20€.

hm, which one is the video out port? is it the icon with the line, rectangle, then line? I guess I could use that, does it mean I can skip installing drivers and just plug and play?

Yes and yes, but to plug and play, you need the appropriate adapter.
