can anyone help me, i resived a windowes 7 pro file from a friend and the only setup file within it is an .exe

i would like to somehow use this file to insttall widows 7 on my mac via bootcamp

is there any way i can convert the .exe into .dmg or burn it as a .dmg, so it is picked up by my mac or can one only do this by way of a windows 7 dvd?

I guess that is the most logical and simple solution to my problem, thank you.
However are there any problems that i could expect by upgrading to windows 7 from XP in a bootcamp partition?

Xp ----> 7 is not so smooth. The above worked for me on one of my laptops.

Vista----> 7 worked a treat, but then again it was supposed to be easy.

    Best of luck to you.
