i have an i mac osx, 41/2 yrs old. i've had no problems with it until lately. when i start it, the screen flickers somewhat and the colors take on a yellow tint. the blues turn green, red is orange etc. should i make funeral arrangements for this unit? or is there a fix? thanks, jim

The problem is unlikely to be in the OS. What type of machine do you have?

Re-insert your OEM disk and do a hardware test. Something is amiss.

Download the latest firmware for it, that might fix it.

Just run Software Update and if there is new firmware it will find it.

well, just as i was going to do software update, the yellow tint disappeared and my colors are normal again. i'm going to shut this unit down and hope the problem is over. [doubt it] if anyone has any other ideas let me know. thanks everyone, jim i'll be back.
