I tried to partition my drive, so I could put Windows on it, and it says that the disk verification failed. I tried to verify the disk, and it failed in the Disk Utility. It will not let me repair it either. Obviously, now I can't partition the drive either. Is there anything else I can do besides reformat?

Please help. I really don't want to have to reformat.

Thanks guys.

Start up with the system install disk. When it's done loading, go to up to the menu bar and go to the Utilities menu, then select disk utility. You should be able to repair your disk from there.
