iPod touch Help Please

I have a video I need to convert to iTunes and then to my iTouch. I used handbrake to convert to MP4 and then tried to use iTunes to convert to iTouch but it failed. Is there software I can download or an easier way? Help much appreciated.

well i know that when i have downloaded videos off the internet i add them to my itunes library and then click on them and go to (i believe this is how i did it) file and select create ipod or iphone version of the video and that has generally worked out for me

but i know for sure that you can do it with itunes alone

you need to convert it to mpeg in handbrake. worked for me. its mpeg something...
