I have a mac book pro and a canon hv40 camcorder. When I import or play back the video thru the computer via firewire the audio is delayed. Why is this happening? HELP!!!

The thread title guy strikes again:

A more descriptive and precise thread title will help cater to the right audience and get you more responses.
To edit your thread title, just click on the
edit.gif
button on the bottom right of your original post and then click the "Go Advanced" button below your message.

Have you also taken a look at MRoogle, since that question may have been asked several times?

from the forum rules:Minor Problems

3. Thread titles.

Use thread titles that indicate the subject of the thread, not generic titles such as "Need advice/help". Moderators may change thread titles that have no specifics, usually by adding something more specific in parentheses.

You're using iMovie I suppose?

Does it only happen during capture? If so, than that is a normal behaviour.

Is the camera's volume set to zero?

Stupid subject headings

also help to know what kind of macbook you have.
go to UTILITIES > SYSTEM PROFILER

what is your OS, Ram, CPU, what did you use to capture it?
