If this has been answered in an earlier post let me know, thanks!

I'm trying to set up Transmission on Leopard. I've forwarded the required TCP port on my router, but I don't know how to do it in System Preferences. Where do you add custom port forwarding options in Sharing like you did with the Firewall tab in Tiger?

Thanks! 🙂

To Follow Up...

I ran a search on the Apple discussion boards and found another article about this issue:

http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=5660157

Unfortunately they don't have an answer either. Another thread pointed to an article about TCP/UDP ports OS X uses:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106439

So I chose a TCP port in the 8xxx range and sure enough Transmission worked like a charm. The port is still "stealth" though.

If anyone else has some insight into this please let me know. Did Apple remove the ability to forward individual ports with its "improved" firewall or am I missing something?
