I knew there was a dedicated folder on iPhone 6S for deleted photos. Is there such a thing for deleted text messages?

I just wrongly deleted a few messages that were important for my business. I am wondering is it possible to get them back?

Thanks

When was your last backup? If they were on your device then you could restore and get them back. Option 2 was given just before my reply. Look on your other devices if you have any where you share access to messages and they should still be there. Unlike email, messages deleted on one device don't delete on the other automatically. There is no recently deleted folder for messages.

Like what the others have said. Check your iCloud and iTunes last back up. If your phone is set to automatically back up to iCloud, take note to restore it before it backs up again without the message. (It automatically backs up when you plug in and is on Wifi.)

also, if you have your backup local you can use ibackupbot to fetch the texts, imessages right out of there.

iTunes backup seems a long time ago, may be last year. iCloud consistently asks me for backup but it never succeeded. The progress bar never be 100%.

There are 4 ways you can try:
1. Just extract recent messages from your iTunes backup if you've synced to iTunes.
2. Restore your iPhone from iCloud backup if you have
3. Try some business software to recover deleted messages from iPhone, but you have budget. such softwares costs bout $39 - $60
4. Take your software to maintenance shop, but it also costs money.

Unfortunately this probably won't work right now. There's a bug in the iCloud restore process somewhere which is preventing iPhone 6s backups from restoring messages and HealthKit data. http://appleinsider.com/articles/15...sages-recent-calls-when-restoring-from-icloud
