I'm getting involved in a project to write some apps for the iPhone and

I've never written for it before. Have any of you guys done that before?
My problem is I don't know if a simple sounding thing is workable without major effort.
Before I go learning how to code for the phone I'd like to know how workable some of the ideas are.
1. An app to automatically put the country code in front of numbers being imported from outlook or the sim card?
2. An app that puts locations on the GPS maps stored in the iPhone?
3. An app to buy and store an E-ticket on the phone?
4. An app to let you add an email account onto your iPhone without
having to set it up yourself on the phone?

Most users get the email bit wrong and it takes a while to talk them
through how to do it, blackberries don't have that issue you just put
the account onto the web portal and it gets sent to the phone.
The locations thing is something marketing is interested in, they'd
like to put dealer locations on the map so you can find where to bring
your faulty phone to for repair. I know, I know there are a hundred
flaws in that but it is marketing that want that.

The ticketing thing is more of a business request they want to be able
to sell tickets to customers for events the company sponsors. Not sure
how to do that one but hey it's free to ask.

The iPhone will already tell you the location of the number.
This may be possible...

There are no maps stored on the iPhone. You would have to create your own mapping software.

3. An app to buy and store an E-ticket on the phone?
Yea, but how would you print it out?

4. An app to let you add an email account onto your iPhone without having to set it up yourself on the phone?
Sure, but currently your app would have to be running for you to do this.

Thanks for the response DipDog3. I don't need the E ticket to be printable, just something that appears on the screen. You can show it to the ticket booth to be able to get in to events.

I Can't find out if I'm able to do the phone number thing as I can't find similar code on the Apple dev section.

The email thing would be handy, would put it on a website, let you download it and put in the details you want to add and let the app at the settings to the iphone properly. The number of people who put in the wrong incoming our outgoing mail server is scary.

Is there a site or other resource I can look at to find out how to do either the country code, the E ticket or the web mail thing?
I'm a little stumped, but my experience of using apple things is fairly basic.
