help projecting from a mac

Hello! A little help please!

I am trying to project instant messages onto a cyclorama on stage next week but I don't know what program to use? Ideally I would like to have a plain black screen projected where i can type on stage and have it project instantly, like in the matrix! So i can't use mirroring with word as it has all the tools etc displayed. Any ideas? Thanks

You could download the trial of Pages and use that, as it allows full screen: http://www.apple.com/uk/iwork/pages/#tools
Then you can use Mirror Displays.
