Is there any way of recovering individual files from an old external HD which had Time Machine backups on it? The problem I face is that the computer that TM was backing up had FileVault running on it. That HD has 190 GB stored on it, but I cannot access any of the files. All I really want is to be able to get a few old photos.
I read elsewhere that you can find a user.sparsebundle in the Users folder (if browsing the TM using Finder) which you can use to unlock access, but I see no such file.
Any suggestions/advice?
