I dont know too much about computers. I have a mac with lepard on it. I accidentally put my fathers very important quickbook files into the trashcan. He, knowing nothing about computers, hit secure trash. Is there any way at all possible to recover the files after hitting secure trash? 🙁

I don't think this is ontopic but to help you.
Time Machine is one of Leopard's new features that literally allows you to go back in time to recover lost or deleted files.

hey, don't hijack this thread. and no there is not a way to recover it without something like diskwarrior and you simply using the computer it was deleted from has probably already caused that disk space to be over written.
