Help! (regarding shapes)

I have some homework due tomorrow, and I need to know if a Crescent (like a crescent moon) shape is an organic shape. Any artists out there know?

I'm going to go with geometric. Don't hold me to it though. A crescent is like a circle cut out of a circle, both of which are geometric. Soooo....no.
