Help regarding system preferences

Hello, i can't find system preferences in my dock or when i search it on finder.

I use the apple icon on the top left and i click on the tab "system preferences" but nothing happens.

I really need to access it, is there anything i can do?

Is it under Macintosh HD (name of your HDD or volume Mac OS X resides on) / Applications / System Preferences?

What Mac OS X version do you have?

It's not under HD.

My version is MAC OS X 10.4.11

It is in the Applcations folder for 10.4.11. You may have deleted it. 😱
Reinstall the 10.4.11 combo updater?
