i have a gen 2 ipod touch, paid for the gen3 software update.

then i updated with the 4.2 (or latest whatever it is) and i want to go back to version 3.

problem is i cant do that cos i can only go back to the last back up which was when the software went to version 4.

now its all been updated i'm having big problems...mainly with my photos.

for instance i have them all named so they can be scrolled through in order (useful when you scan in pages of comics)

now however they're in a really random order, also in a file where there should be upwards of 300 images, the ipod only shows 125.

how do i fix this?

even when i restore now the pics are in a weird order and not all are showing.

im really annoyed i updated the software. please help.

with 3rd gen software on it?

no, i cant give up on it yet.

im trying to figure out how to get the photos in the right order - and all of the photos not just half of them.

got the latest version of itunes and all pics are in jpeg format

You can't go back to 3.0 unless you find the appropriate IPSW (firmware) file online.
