Help restoring user name

Hi all, as some of you might know, you can hold down the command key and drag the items in the top right of the menu bar to rearrange items, and dragging off to remove it. I accidentally dragged my user name off and let go of my mouse button and it's gone. What should I do to restore it? 😕

System preferences -> Accounts -> Login Options -> Enable fast user switching and check View as: Name

If I have fast user switching enabled and drag my name off the menu bar, it just reappears immediately.
