I bought my 4S over a year ago and had an incident where I had to have it replaced through insurance. The one they sent me was unlocked (I'm assuming as I'm all somewhat new to this), and I was curious if there was a way to restore the Verizon setting in the network portion. I had backed it up from my previous one activated through Verizon, but I don't currently have any more of the backups available in iTunes. It still makes calls and receives texts, and I've done some googling trying to see if there was a carrier bundle, but I'm having no such luck. I've dialed the *228 activate it through over the air, but I'm not sure there's a way to force a carrier update or not. Can someone point me in the right direction?

It basically just says "Not Available" under the Network settings but shows my carrier as "Verizon 14.0"

That makes the most sense. I'm actually going to just stop in a Verizon store later this afternoon. I just thought I'd try seeing if I could fix it myself first.

Update: Within the last 24 hours, it's popped up that there was a SIM card failure. I took it in to Verizon, and they're just going to overnight me a refurbished phone.
