    All,

I am in need of a Mac-based DVD ripping application. I have various TV shows that I want to digitally preserve.

With that said, can anyone recommend the premier DVD-ripping software of Macs?

A quick search would have given you the answer. Handbrake is one of the best.

I use Mac DVDRipper Pro and/or RipIt for rips (cheap)
I use Handbrake for encoding (free)

I use RipIt for DVDs that I own. It works well enough. I just want access to the programs on the computer - I keep the DVDs and in my view this is fair use.

I've also used MakeMKV with pretty good success.
