I have a new macbook pro and I'm trying to use my hp scanjet 4890 to scan in documents into a pdf file. I've download the HP Scan Pro software from HP's website. I'm trying to scan multiple pages on the glass into 1 pdf file. When I try to scan it will only scan and save 1 doc at a time. I have found a setting to prompt for additional scans but the system isn't doing that.

Is this the best way to do this on a mac? Or am I just doing something wrong?

Thanks for any help!!

Similar Problem scanning multiple pages on HP scanner

I have big piles of loose paper I want to put into the autofeeder on my HP Laserjet M1522nf and just have them scan all the pages.

When the scan software comes up, there is a "scan all" button underneath the single "scan" button. Unfortunately it is greyed out.

I really want to have it scan the pages until the auto feeder runs out of documents. I don't want to sit there and have to keep clicking the scan button for each new page.
