    Helo all,

This is my first iPad and so far I love it, with one exception. I hold the iPad with my left while typing with my right. Every time I apply a little pressure with either hand, the screen brightens, noticeably. If you're looking at the back of the iPad in a portrait view, the area that causes the change in brightness is from the Apple logo to the left edge. If pressed anywhere in that area, that is where the brightness occurs. Same goes for the front/screen of the iPad. Anywhere else on the unit, brightness is not affected by pressing. Is this a normality with previous iPads?

Also, I notice, in portrait mode, about eight light bleeds (four on each side). Is this also another normality?

BTW my brightness is set to about 50%.

Thanks in advance for comments and assistance

That doesn't sound normal. Have it exchanged at the Apple store.
