HELP...SD card in Cd drive

Hi guys, im got an imac for christmas and im loving it but today i wasnt looking when i put my camara card into the Cd drive instead.
Is there any way of getting this out without having to take to back to the place of purchase?

It's apparently very common.

I don't expect you'll get too much help or sympathy from the ever so friendly MacRumors members but some have been able to get the SD card out using a knife or credit card or sticky tape so good luck. 😀

Damn near did that myself when trying to upload my NYE pics. Caught myself and was able to get it out.

Bad design choice with that one.

I did this a long time ago.

I bent a paperclip into an L shape and fished it out. Took all of 2 minutes!

Hope it didn't go in too far. The paper clip idea is a good one - just unplug the computer first 😛
