As compensation for some recent damage than an Apple tech caused to my Windows 7 Ultimate disc, Apple has agreed to give me $200 credit, plus a free Magic Mouse.

I have decided that I want to use that money for a wireless printer. I have narrowed it down to two choices.

Which of these two printers do you think is best/fastest/most functional? Please provide reasons.

    Option 1: http://store.apple.com/us_edu_24457/product/TV352LL/A?fnode=MTY1NDA1MQ&mco=MTA4NDE0MjU

    Option 2: http://store.apple.com/us_edu_24457/product/TV577LL/A?fnode=MTY1NDA1MQ&mco=MTA4NDE0ODU

    Thanks,
    Relznuk

I don't know if the Canon PIXMA MX860 has the same inner workings as the canon pixma mp620, which I have (it is wireless as well), but I would never buy or recommend this printer, for the following reason: it will not scan documents if the ink is out. I guess it's not a huge deal, but it was really annoying the day it happened.

Note that I'm not using Snow Leopard. I don't know what's the current status with that.

The C309a is $171 at amazon. Better buy something else at Apple.

Thanks, it does seem like the printers are over-priced...
