Help setting up an iPhone

So I did set up my phone this friday and did a backup restore, but after a while I realised that the backup is kind of messed up and I really wanna set up as a new phone.
Did that, only transfered the contacts, and now I wanna install the apps I used to have on the old one. There goes the problem: the AppStore does not recognise my purchased items. I have a lot of paid apps that I need and it looks like I have to buy them again :\. I am signed in with the same Apple ID.
What is the matter or what am I supposed to do?

Dont you have those apps on your computers itunes library?
Just sync them over.

I must be misunderstanding. Your purchased items should be your in iTunes AND the store - as long as you log in with the same ID. Deleting them from the phone doesnt matter.

Yeah that's weird. They are in iTunes but when I go in the AppStore they look like not purchased.

Weird, I think you can just click purchase and it will redownload them for free as long as its the same itunes account.
