I just got a new MBP and want to set up a Windows partition. I've never used Bootcamp before. I'm going to partition my drive but after that what's the best way to go about it? I have XP. Thanks

You have to get Windows 7, as Windows XP is no longer supported to be installed on 2011 or 2012 Macs.

Have you looked at any of the available guides out there?

Make sure to hold option every time your mac restarts, and choose the DVD or windows partition, otherwise it won't finish the windows install.
