I'm on Snow leopard 6.8 and my software update keeps giving me The update “Apple Software Installer Update” can’t be saved. A network error has occurred. Check your Internet connection, and then try again. 😱

I've tried individually and as a group installs.

Ironically one of the updates says it addresses an error to correct software updates not installing.

Does anyone know away around this? It's definitely not a network problem on my end. Is there a glitch? I read about a java update I might need and can't get that either.

Thanks, for the moment that's working 🙂....but I can't count on it.

For some time now I've noticed that ANY visit to support or discussion threads may get redirected to the main apple page. It happens whether I try and click on a link through Google or go straight there and onto the support page. Not every time, but enough to drive me nuts. Are they doing something weird on the Apple site? 😕
