HELP. STOP ME FROM PULLING MY HAIR OUT

have a G5 Imac and recenlty installed tiger, but it played merry hell with my broadband connection so re-installed panther, but it did not install appleworks. So re-installed again and apple works is installed but now safari wont work. I click on safari I get a blank page and cannot quit it unless I force quit. Do I need to re install panther again???. I have version 10.3.5.

just a wild guess but i would try to repair the permisions or try firefox

try deleting the safari preferences. or use firefox to download safari from the website and and try re-installing.

sounds great but how do I do that, not overly technical on Mac's.

Which you'll need to update to 10.3.9 to do (i believe)

found the plist and seems to have done something , working again now. 🙂 downloading 10.3.9 now thanks.
