Hello,

I have noticed that periodically some sort of program pops up in my dock for a split second, then disappears. It's too quick to click it with my mouse or see what the icon looks like. Nothing different shows up in my recent apps menu. I have no idea what this program is. Is there a way I can track what programs open on my Mac to find out what this program is? Or does anyone know what this could be?

When does this happen? Startup? Randomly? Upon opening a certain app?

Randomly AFAIK.

Usually I have Safari open and that's it. Happens random even if the program has been running for a while. Sometimes only Finder is running and it pops up.

I got to see the icon for a split second, all I can say is it looks kind of like a blue document with something black in front of it. I couldn't screen capture fast enough. Its like if you opened a program and it closed immediately after.
