so i wanted to upload my existing iCloud Photo library as a 2nd backup to Google Photo which apparently meant downloading them all to my iPhone in the background first ... so i wanted to get rid of the downloaded files which meant i had to disable iCloud Photo on my iPhone.

apparently there is no easy way to delete everything in the camera roll and the delete button doesnt exist on "Image Capture" on my Mac so i had to disable iCloud Photo on my Mac as well. The Photo app on my Mac however still had all my 4000+ pics in the library (i guess they were downloaded).

ANYWAY i enabled Photo on my Mac again and now it tries to upload all those pictures that are already on the cloud again! why???

edit: O M G for some reason all my folders are gone from the iCloud library as well. smfh
edit 2: weird .... 4 folders are still there when i use the webinterface

mess
