Hi all,

I'm currently using a Samsung Galaxy S phone, which had no problem being recognized on our (ok, her) 2010 13" MBP running Snow Leopard. Plug in the USB cable, hit the "mount" button on the phone and the MBP would open iPhoto, download the photos, and allow me to upload podcasts back to the phone.

I have a 2011 i5 27" iMac which does everything brilliantly - except for sync up with my phone. I plug in the USB as usual, and iPhoto will start up just as it does on the MBP, but doesn't do the usual auto upload of new photos. It seems to be looking in the wrong directory on the phone's memory card. I can immediately plug it into the MBP and it will be recognized and upload. This leads me to believe that the issue is with the iMac. Any ideas? I know some Mac basics, but I'm pretty much a noob. Could there be some settings I am missing on the iMac? Thanks.

Are there any differences between the iPhoto Preferences on the MBP and on the iMac that might explain this behavior?
