Help syncing photos on PC

Hello!
I'm trying to download the photos I've taken with the iPhone onto my PC. I've searched the forums and cannot find the answer.

Do I need a specific program? Can I get iPhoto for the PC to sync and organize the photos from the iPhone?

I appreciate any help!

I would really appreciate the help. I can't find this question discussed before.

When I plug my phone into the PC via the dock it automatically starts the sync. At that same time, a popup shows up with a number of options of programs to download the photos (picasa, some wizard, etc.). I can select one of those and it will sync over the pictures.

Also, under "My Computer" there is an "Apple iPhone" entry that has all of the pictures. I can open that folder and either copy to Windows or delete pics. I cannot put a picture from Windows on the iPhone from here however.

Thanks for the help. After self-diagnosis, I discovered that I needed to delete and then reinstall (automatically) the iPhone driver. Now all is well.
