Help! The clasp to close the lid of my iBook (1Ghz 13" model) snapped off!

The mechanical hook thingy that keeps the lid closed (well, kept) on my beloved if old iBook snapped.

Is this the kind of thing that's fixable? By myself or a service store?

Forgive the naivete, and any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks!
