HELP! - Trying to move/copy a video from iPhoto to iMovie

From what I've seen in youtube videos, etc., it seems like it should work seamlessly, that you just select the iPhoto videos tab and it opens all videos in iPhoto - well when I do that is says there's nothing there. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If that's not working, drag the video from iPhoto onto your Desktop, then Import into iMovie form iMovies File Menu: Import>Movies...
