Does anyone know where i can find the step by step guide to unlock version 4.3.3 (8J2)? Another question, is it possible to unlock the phone only and not jailbreak it? Thanks.

The only way you can unlock your iphone 4 is with a Gevey Turbo Sim. Or if you're lucky and live in the UK you can get it factory unlocked.

You can only use ultrasn0w on the iPhone 4 if the baseband is 1.59.00

Like I said above, the Gevey Turbo Sim is pretty much your only option to get your iPhone 4 unlocked.

So Band=Modem Firmware right? My Modem Firmware is 04.10.01, which is listed not compatible with Ultrasn0w. Is this the reason why you guys telling me Gevey Turbo Sim is my only choice at the moment? Thanks!

Yes. As said the two options you have are; Factory unlock if you bought the iPhone from a provider, which unlocks iPhones.
Here in Denmark "3" unlocks your iPhone for free.

OR

The other options is to get Gevey Turbo sim.

ahh thanks.. But I live in New York, and I am planning to use my iPhone 4 in Taiwan for couple of weeks.. I called my provider (AT&T), and they told me that they can't unlock the iPhone.🙁

Yes, AT&T does not unlock any US iphones.
So there's only 1 option left.

As long as they're the only GSM provider, they won't unlock the phone. If you have another AT&T phone, they'll unlock that for you.
