My main PC died while downloading the update. This was my "main" sync point.
I have a laptop, but it says updating on this device will erase apps/media/etc
I had Ituneson main pc supposedly synced to an external HD, but it looks like it just stored all the music there
So, two questions:
New PC will be here Monday
How do I set it up as the new "main" sync spot?
Can I update to iOS5 on the temporary laptop without losing music/apps on the phone? Obviously I can move them back on manually afterwards but that seems laborious. According to the pop up I'm getting, the backup I created will only restore settings, contacts and pictures
