I recently purchased an Apple G3 Laptop with 800 Mhz processor, 640 MB RAM, 30 GB Hard Drive, with a MAC OS X 10.2.3 (6H60). I also purchased the Office Mac Professional 2004 software to put on this computer. But the software requires atleast a MAC OS X 10.2.8. Can I upgrade my purchased computer from a MAC OS X 10.2.3 (6H60) to a MAC OS X 10.2.8 without any problems? Any special instructions to do so?

Thanks, I am a Windows to Mac converter. :apple:

Yep. First go to Software Update on the Apple menu :)apple: at the top left of the screen) and see whether it still lists the available updates in there. If not, look on the Support Downloads section on www.Apple.com. The "10.2.8 Combo Updater" (the file you need) should still be listed. Don't attempt either via dial-up though. It's not going to be small.

Yes, you can download 10.2.8 update from the Apple / Downloads site.
Click the Apple symbol at the top left corner of your screen and select Mac OS X software. .. :)
