I have a mid 2010 mac mini, the last one with the suoer drive. I'm going to have a Crucial SSD installed with Yosemite and all that comes with it, so it's like brand new, have the old drive taken out and place in an external case to be used as an external drive with USB. Could someone please tell what total parts I will need for all of this. I'm having a Mac repair place do the labor, but I'm supplying the material, so I need to know everything I need before I order from Amazon and bring in it all in to the dealer for installation. TIA!

Crucial BX100 and SABRENT 2.5-Inch SATA Aluminum Hard Drive to USB 2.0 Enclosure if you do not want to pay extra for USB 3 (since your Mac mini has USB 2).
Check the install video over at OWC installs for Mid 2010 Mini. It will say what you need to do the install.
Hi I have the same 2010MM with a Samsung SSD in it, as for externals I have two OWC FW800(on-the go) daisy chained the 1st has a older SSD I use as a secondary drive the other has HDD for time machine. I did have a USB external but that slowed boot time down quiet a lot 60 sec compared to 30 sec now. All in all an excellent MM, Cheers

Just max'd out the 2010 with 16GB Mushkin RAM from Newegg, works very nicely now. It was the last thing I wanted to do for a while but the price of the 1066 was a bit steep.
