Help Upgrading RAM

    one is 4GB and the other are (2) 2GB you want the 2 2GB modules

    The first link is for a single 4GB chip. The second is for 2 chips that are 2 GB each. There is a premium for a single larger chip.

    thanks, i guess ill get the 2x2gb ram, who needs 6 or 8 gbs anyway

    your macbook couldn't see it anyway
    people with video/photo heavy apps need them on mac pro's

    Anecdotal evidence suggests the benefit of more RAM outweighs the dual-channel effect.

    I agree, but it also burns a bigger hole in your wallet.
