OK, I'm new to both my beautiful 24 inch iMac and burning DVDs and I really need help.

I downloaded mac the ripper and created a video-ts folder with a bunch of stuff in it from a movie. That part seems successful.

Now - to burn the darn thing. Downloaded BURN and tried three times unsuccessfully.

I know this is simple, but bear with me.

I click the video tab.
Then I click the + and find my ts folder.
Only the vob files are added.
Don't I need the bup and ifo ones too?
Do I add them somewhere else? I'd prefer not to have another coaster.

still don't see any thing but .VOB

i can try it but I still thought I'd need the bup and ifo files. Aren't they for the menu and stuff? Do I need to shrink or compact it or something. I went directly from mac the ripper to burn.

Are you double clicking on the Video_TS and then clicking open when you're already inside the Video_TS folder, or are you selecting (single clicking) the folder and then choosing open?

EDIT: Actually, you might just try Disk Utility -- search around on this. I'm not sure the Burn video section is really intended for burning full DVDs -- I think it's for burning separate video files into a DVD.
