...... after using a new Microsoft mouse on my old G4 system. (Plus a white rectangule close to the cursor). Do I have to clean all the system? How do I do it? I did a total backup already. Can somebody here help me step by step please?

no anwser?....
I love this forum. I read some very smart Mac-guys all the time here 'n now I really need help, but no answers to my question, so weird, maybe my 3rd-language-english is not clear or maybe I need to explain more.
This is an old ProTools system very stable, I did many good jobs with it. I have new ProTools systems but I really want 'n need this system too. I changed the mouse 2 times before coz too much use 'n all ok but this time the new mouse had a cd (a driver to install) yes I made the mistake to open that cd on my G4. After that I think the monitor 'n cursor were "sick" (vertical lines on monitor 'n a white rectangule in the cursor). Very difficul to work coz when I drag or move the cursor all lines mix colors, making impossible to see anything. I upgraded to OS X 10.3 last possible OS for that system 'n a new Sonnet processor, thinking that was a solution but the lines are there. I wanna clean the system. I'm not a tech I'm a music producer.
Any help please?
