Hi Guys

I am new to this site and looking for some help. It's the same question you have heard lots on hear I think.

I have a classic iPod with click wheel, I don't have the computer I that stored all of my music from iPod.

I did that silly thing and connected it to a lap tap and lost everything, music all gone. Is there anyway with out the oringinal iTunes account on my old computer to get back any of the music.

I had over 10 years of music and I am desperate to get the music back, have tried lots of things but I can not get it back at all

Any help thanks in advance.

Paolo

I guess the problem was that you synced the ipod with a second computer. If you want to add music from a second computer, without loosing music synced from the first computer, you must choose the option "manually manage music" on the second computer. If you do web search for "syncing ipod with two computers", you can get more info on this. I do not know if it's possible to recover deleted music without syncing it again with your first computer.

Yes that's what I did. I just thought that it might of deleted from the iPod but it's somewhere on the second computer somewhere on the hard drive, I guess it deletes it and you can never get it back..

Yes, I think so. The only option to recover music files (if you didn't have access to your first computer) would be to use a program that looks for deleted files on your iPod, eg http://www.easeus.com/data-recovery/mobile-device-recovery/recover-ipod-music.htm . Many other iPod data recovery programs available if you do web search for "recover deleted music from ipod". I have not used myself any of these data recovery programs, so I'm not sure how good they are. Luckily, I understand you got your music back from the first computer, so you will not need the special software :)

He did not PM me. I thought OP's "Yes that's what I did" referred to syncing from the first computer. Maybe I misunderstood.
Hi
I think "Yes that's what I did." was I lost 10 years of my music - maybe I'm wrong.
If 10 years of music is potentially 'lost' I'm no expert but I had a hard drive fail and the music was recovered via data recovery £90. I guess this scenario is quite different.

OP where the heck is computer one and do you have an old backup somewhere?
