I was wondering can Mac Osx or Osx server, run mysql, php, apache and phpmyadmin?
So if it can run all of these great programs and scrips could it host a SMF forum? And if it can't run these programs/scrips are there alternatives?

Thanks in Advance

OS X (server or non-server) will both happily run Apache, PHP and MySQL. IIRC, Apache and PHP are already built into Leopard and only need to be enabled.

PhpMyAdmin and SMF are simply PHP apps that will work (nearly) everywhere you have a PHP (and MySQL) installation. A Mac will happily run what you're asking, but it may be overkill.
