Hi Anybody with some experience. Today my iphone 12 heats up to an alarming temperature (Temperature warning) then suddenly turns off screen. Wait 1 hour, try to turn on again and no respond. Do I need to take it to apple care center or will cool off in time. Somebody with experience on this issue Please. Thanks a lot. Vincent

Use Apple Configurator 2 from a Mac and connect to your iPhone.
If it sees your phone from the Mac, then it's a good chance it's still alive.
You may have to reset/wipe the phone in DFU mode in order to re-load a fresh iOS.
I do that all day with my organizations' iOS devices.

It could have a bad hardware failure. If it is getting that hot I would not leave it unattended while charging.
